Barrell Craft Spirits Bourbon Series 3 - 15 Year Best for Last This is an annual release with the current expression being from 2020 (bourbon release 3). On the nose is a melange of peanuts and dusty books. Explosion of flavor on the palate with a bold hit of spicy rye, caraway, aniseed; tobacco, deep nuttiness and char.

Hibiki Harmony Blended Butter Suntory built Japan’s first malt whisky distillery in 1923, although the company had been in business (selling wine) since 1899. They have two malt whisky distilleries (Yamazaki and Hakushu) and a grain whisky distillery (Chita). To commemorate their 90th anniversary, they launched Hibiki (or harmony in Japanese) in 1989 by blending whiskies from all three distilleries.

Day 21

Maker’s Mark Private Select Caramel Corn in a Glass As we mentioned previously, Maker’s Mark produces wheated bourbons meaning they use wheat in place of the traditional rye. Maker’s products use a mash bill of 70 percent corn, 16 percent wheat and 14 percent malted barley.

Day 20

Rock Town Eighth Anniversary Bottled-in-Bond Rye Honey & Flowers Another selection from our favorite local distillery! Rock Town makes an anniversary bottle each year (e.g. whiskey, bourbon, rye) sold in smaller 375ml bottles. Their 8th Anniversary bottling is a straight rye whiskey distilled from a mash of 88 percent Arkansas rye and 12 percent malted barley.
