Day 9

Rock Town Arkansas Hickory Smoked Whiskey Arksnsas Treasure As Arkansans (although we are natives of TX and NY), we are very proud of our State’s first legal distillery since Prohibition. We’ve toured/tasted multiple times and believe they make exceptional whiskey.

Day 8

Michter’s Bourbon It’s Toasted! Classic bourbon elements. Vanilla and light cherry on the nose. Heavy vanilla on the palate with toasted coconut, toasted marshmallow, toasted bread, caramel, pecan and baking spice. Bitter oak finish. Mash bill reported to be 79 percent corn, 11 percent rye and 10 percent malted barley.

Day 7

Few Rye Floral Sweetness Very floral on the nose with that distinct grassy scent of rye. Remains sweet and floral on the palate. Not as spicy as what you’d expect with a rye. Honey, vanilla, hint of baking spices. Flavors more pronounced at first pour.

Day 6

Lismore 18 Single Malt Scotch Mystery Whisky Considered a “mystery” whisky due to it coming from an undisclosed distillery in the Speyside region. Light and fruity on the nose. Flavors of fig, apricot and honey on the palate that linger.

Day 5

Russell’s Reserve Private Barrel Selection Classic Bourbon Cherry and vanilla are predominant on the nose and on the palate. Hints of vanilla, fruit, tobacco and leather are noticeable along with the spiciness from the rye and the bitterness from the 10 years aging in the charred oak.
